Jada Riley is the founder of Radiant Reflections Beauty Salon, a brand built on the belief that healthy hair plays an important role in confidence and self-image. Her interest in cosmetology started at an early age, when she learned how to cornrow hair before the age of five and spent much of her childhood sketching hairstyle ideas for her beautician to recreate. What began as a love for beauty grew into a deeper curiosity about how hair care affects the way women feel about themselves.

At age 16, Jada was diagnosed with alopecia areata, an experience that changed the way she viewed hair and the role it plays in confidence. Navigating hair loss at a young age gave her a personal understanding of how deeply hair can affect self-image, and it inspired her commitment to helping women care for their hair in a healthy and informed way. From that point on, her focus expanded beyond styling alone to include education, hair health, and long-term care.

Jada later earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and used that background to build Radiant Reflections with intention. She did not want to create just another salon. Her goal was to create a space where clients feel supported, informed, and cared for, with an emphasis on healthy hair, personalized service, and maintaining the integrity of the hair over time.

As the brand has grown, so has the vision behind it. In addition to working behind the chair, Jada is developing new tools and future initiatives focused on hair and scalp health, education, and helping women better understand changes in their hair over time. Her work continues to be guided by the same experience that inspired Radiant Reflections from the beginning — the belief that when women feel confident in their hair, it can positively affect every part of their lives.

Through Radiant Reflections, her goal is not only to provide quality hair services, but to create knowledge, resources, and solutions that help women feel confident in their own reflection.
